Marketplace terms for buyers

Version 2026-10-24 · Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms apply when your business buys from distributors on CAJA305 Market, either at market.caja305.com or from the Marketplace section of a CAJA305 store. They sit next to our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Where they say something different about the marketplace, these terms are the ones that apply.

1 Who sells to you

Every product on CAJA305 Market is sold by an independent distributor. The distributor is the seller of record. CAJA305 provides the software that shows you the catalog, carries your order to the distributor and keeps the record. CAJA305 is not a party to the sale, does not own or handle the products, and does not deliver them.

The distributor is responsible for its products, their quality, labels, safety and recalls, for its prices, for delivering what it confirmed, and for its own permits and taxes.

2 Your account with each distributor

To buy from a distributor you ask it to sell to you, and the distributor decides. It can approve you, ask you for more information, decline, put your account on hold, or close it. When it approves you it sets your price group, your payment terms, your minimum order and, if it wants, your delivery days. CAJA305 does not approve or decline buyers for a distributor.

3 Prices, taxes and the invoice

4 Resale certificate

If you buy products to resell them, you can add your Florida Annual Resale Certificate number, its year and, if you want, a copy of it. CAJA305 passes it to each distributor you ask to buy from, so the distributor can decide whether to sell to you without sales tax. Keeping it current and true is your responsibility, and so is using it only for purchases you will resell. Florida certificates expire on 31 December; we remind you in December.

5 Paying

You pay the distributor directly, on the payment terms the distributor gave you. CAJA305 does not take, hold or pass on any payment for marketplace orders, and does not issue invoices for them. Questions about a bill go to the distributor.

6 Orders

7 Returns, shortages and credits

Each distributor's own policies apply: damaged or short items, substitutions, returns and cancellations. You can read them on the distributor's page before you order, and a copy of the version in force is saved with every order. Credits and returns are arranged between you and the distributor. CAJA305 is not a party to that arrangement, but we can show both of you the order record if that helps.

8 What the distributor sees about you

When you ask a distributor to sell to you, or place an order with it, CAJA305 gives that distributor your business name, your contact name, phone and email, your business and delivery addresses, what you told it in your request, and your resale certificate if you added one. Distributors use this to decide on your account, to deliver and to contact you. The Privacy Policy explains the rest.

9 Products not allowed

CAJA305 Market does not allow alcohol, tobacco or nicotine products (including vapes), hemp or CBD products, or kratom. Distributors agree not to list them. If you see one, tell us.

10 What CAJA305 checks, and what it does not

We review every distributor before it appears on CAJA305 Market. The "Documents verified by CAJA305" badge means we checked the distributor's documents (such as its sales tax registration, food permit and insurance certificate) and they were current when we checked. It is not a guarantee of any product, delivery or price. Figures such as how many stores reorder from a distributor, how much of what was ordered arrived and how fast it confirms orders are measured by CAJA305 from orders placed on CAJA305 Market, and are only shown when three or more stores ordered.

11 What it costs

Buying on CAJA305 Market is free during the pilot. CAJA305 adds no fee to your orders. If that changes we will tell you at least 30 days before.

12 Suspension

We can suspend your access to CAJA305 Market if you break these terms, misuse a distributor's trust (for example, by using a certificate that is not yours), or if the law requires it. We tell you why. If you have a CAJA305 store, its register keeps working.

13 Disputes and liability

A disagreement about an order, a product, a delivery or a payment is between you and the distributor. CAJA305 is not responsible for the distributor's products or for what the distributor does or does not do. Section 12 of our Terms of Service (no warranty, and the limit of what we owe) also applies to CAJA305 Market.

14 Changes, law and contact

When these terms change we publish the new version here with a new date, and we ask you to accept it again: the next time you sign in to market.caja305.com, or before your next order from the Marketplace section of a CAJA305 store. Florida law applies and disputes with CAJA305 go to the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida. Write to the address on your CAJA305 welcome email.
