CAJA305

Terms of Service

Version 2026-09-13 · Last updated 13 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you, the business that runs a store on CAJA305, and us, the people who build and operate it. We have written them in plain language on purpose: you should be able to read them once and know where you stand.

1 What CAJA305 is

CAJA305 is software to run a shop: a register, your catalogue and stock, purchases from your vendors, your customers, and the reports that come out of all that. It runs on our servers and you reach it through a browser at your own address, yourstore.caja305.com.

2 Your account and your people

You open the store, so the store is yours. You decide who gets a user, what role they have and when to take it away. You are responsible for what your people do with their accounts, and for keeping passwords out of reach. Give us a real email address: it is how we reach you, and it is the only way to get back in if you lose your password.

One subscription is one store. If you run several shops and want them apart, open one store per shop.

3 What it costs

Today CAJA305 is free. We are still growing and we would rather have real shops using it than a price list. If that ever changes we will tell you at least 30 days before the first charge, and you will be free to export everything and walk away without paying anything. We will never turn a free store into a paid one silently.

4 Your data is yours

The catalogue, the sales, the customers, the documents and every number you put into CAJA305 belong to you. Not to us.

5 Your customers' data

When you keep your customers' names, phones or birthdays in CAJA305, you are the one who decides what to collect and what to do with it. We hold it and process it on your behalf, and nothing more. Telling your customers what you collect, and getting their consent where the law where you trade asks for it, is on you. We give you the tools: a consent box with a date on it, an opt-out, and a privacy notice you can show them.

6 Backups

We back the database up every night and keep the copies off the server that runs the service. We test that a backup can actually be restored. That is a safety net, and a safety net is not a promise: keep your own copy of whatever you could not afford to lose, and use the export whenever you want one.

7 Availability

We work to keep CAJA305 up and quick, and we are honest about what that means: while the service is free there is no uptime guarantee. Things break, servers restart, and updates go out during quiet hours. When we can see work coming that will interrupt you, we say so beforehand.

8 What you may not do

9 Suspension

If a store breaks these terms, or if we are legally required to stop serving it, we can close its back office: reports, purchases, settings. The register keeps selling. Taking the till away from a shop takes away its day, and a disagreement with us does not justify that. We will tell you why, and what to do about it.

10 Leaving

You can leave whenever you like, and you do not have to explain. Ask for your export, tell us to delete the store, and we will mark it for deletion. A marked store stays for 30 days in case you change your mind, and then it is purged. After the purge the data is gone and neither you nor we can bring it back.

11 Support

Support is by email. We answer as fast as we honestly can, which is usually the same day. There is no contracted response time while the service is free.

12 No warranty, and the limit of what we owe

CAJA305 is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is free of defects, that it fits a particular purpose, or that it will never lose a minute of work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales, lost data or any indirect damage. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which today is nothing.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law where you trade gives you and does not let you sign away.

13 Changes to these terms

When we change them we publish the new version here with a new date, and we tell you by email before it takes effect. If you keep using CAJA305 after that, you accept the new version. If you do not, leave and take your data with you.

14 Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any dispute that cannot be settled by talking goes to the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

15 Getting in touch

Write to the address on your CAJA305 invoice or welcome email. Tell us the address of your store (yourstore.caja305.com) so we know who is asking.

Version 2026-09-13. When you created your store you accepted the version that was published on that day; we keep a record of which one it was, when, and from where. Ask us and we will show you yours.
